Approving Boone County Zoning allowing small scale sales or leasing of new and used motor vehicles. 

 Requiring property owners to mow the grass and maintain landscaping and trees in the area between the sidewalk fronting their property. 

Approval of revisions to the city’s personnel policies employee handbook by amending the city vehicle home fleet regulations. 

Requiring home builder, contractor and /or the property owner be responsible for the water miter pit and related equipment once installed until the occupancy permit is approved and the house/building is ready to be occupied.

Revision of the fees for connecting to the city’s water supply system.  

Requiring that the applicant for an extension of the city’s sewer or water system shall be responsible for the cost of any required testing or computer modeling to determine the effect of the extension on the city’s system; and to reimburse the city for any expenses it incurrs for such testing and/or modeling.

Awarding an exclusive franchise to Rumpke of Kentucky, Inc for the right and privilage of collecting garbage for residential dwellings in the City of Walton, and providing penalties for violations of the exclusive franchise. 

AMENDING SECTION 150.35 THEREIN, AND CREATING SUBSECTION (G) THEREIN, IN ORDER TO ESTABLISH AN INSPECTION AND PERMIT PROGRAM FOR MOBILE FOOD SERVICE, TO INCLUDE FOOD TRUCKS, FOOD TRAILERS, FOOD CANOPIES AND TENTS

 Adopting a personnel and pay classification plan as required by KRS § 83A.070(2), in order to fix the compensation of city employees and nonelected city officers. 

AMENDING ORDINANCE 2024-17, REQUIRING ALL BUSINESSES OPERATING IN THE CITY TO APPLY FOR AND OBTAIN AN OCCUPATIONAL LICENSE 

FIXING THE TAX RATES OF THE CITY UPON REAL PROPERTY AND TANGIBLE PERSONAL PROPERTY SUBJECT TO AD VALOREM TAXATION BY THE CITY FOR THE YEAR 2025 AND UPON MOTOR VEHICLES AND WATERCRAFT SUBJECT TO AD VALOREM TAXATION BY THE CITY FOR THE YEAR 2025.
